As we celebrate Earth Day on April 22, the east coast of the US is receiving much needed rain after a long drought. It may change the weekend plans for many people but hopefully we can reflect on how we affect the planet every day. Whether we are using bicycles more often, buying local goods or installing water barrels, everything we do does matter. Many cities are installing green roofs, some people are experimenting with hydroponics and composting( such as myself), some cities are even generating energy from human waste, all these steps do matter to our future. Let's take whatever steps we can, even if it is something like bringing your own grocery bag to the store, and celebrate this beautiful planet!
